Estación de Atocha (Plaza del Emperador Carlos V s/n). Only national routes operate from its platforms. The station also ofers a car park, a Policía Nacional police station, luggage lockers and shops to its users.

Estación de Chamartín (Agustín de Foxa s/n), with national and international routes. The station has car parks, telephones booths, tourism office, a post office, a police station, car hire service, travel agencies, currency exchange, shopping and leisure area, a restaurant and lockers.
Another way to access the Spanish city via train, and one of the quickest, is by taking the AVE (High Speed Train). This means of transport has seven high speed lines connecting, in just a few hours, Madrid with Spain´s main cities.
