Meeting of the Organising Committee with the General Director of Roads

The Organising Committee for the 1st International Congress on Roads, Culture and Territory held a meeting with the General Director of Roads, Aureliano López Heredia, on November 10th. The meeting was attended by Ángel González del Río, Head of the Department of State Roads in Galicia, together with the Dean of the Galician Department of the Professional Register of Road, Canal and Port Engineers; the Vice-Dean, José Antonio González Meijide, as well as Rafael Eimil Apenela and Enrique Urcola Fernández-Miranda, members of the Board of Directors.

The General Director, who will chair one of the sessions of the congress, expressed his support for the organisation of this event. The congress is organised by the Galician Department of the Professional Register with the cooperation of the General Directorate of Roads and the General Directorate of Infrastructures of the Autonomous Government of Galicia (Xunta de Galicia), and will be held on March 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2010, in A Coruña.
