We welcome you to participate in the 2012 July M+Vision Consortium Open House by presenting your work and/or attending to network with others!
On July 19-20, 2012, the Madrid-MIT M+Vision Consortium, http://mvision.madrid.org, will hold its first Open House in Madrid with a two-day event to showcase biomedical imaging research and development activities occurring in academia and industry in the Madrid region. The primary goal is to facilitate networking among investigators and to catalyze relationships that could develop into collaborative projects. This Open House follows up on the very successful M+Vision Open House in Boston in October 2011, where over 70 groups presented their research to each other. In order to allow for the introduction of the wide range of ongoing work, the first day of the Madrid Open House will be devoted to short (few minutes) “rapid fire” oral presentations, poster sessions, and networking breaks. In addition, we will compile a compendium of projects including copies of the presentations, and the participant list.

We invite you to attend, and if you desire, to present your work to a broad
range of interest groups, make connections with potential collaborators, and
meet colleagues with similar interests!

The venue for Day 1 will be Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorcón. To facilitate networking, we encourage attendees to be present throughout the day.
The second day will consist of tours to labs within Madrid.
